Dover Rotary thanks Eversource for supporting awareness effort

Thanks to approval by Eversource Energy, Dover Rotary recently installed blue and gold signs on utility poles on key entry roads throughout the city. The signs are part of an effort to raise awareness of the nonprofit’s community support programs, attract new members and highlight the theme of Doing Good in Dover … and the World!.

Rotarian Elizabeth Fischer thanked Eversource for granting permission to use their utility poles as a way to inform residents and visitors that a Rotary club (one of over 45,000 clubs worldwide) is active and doing good works In Dover.

“Rotary has thousands of clubs in the world, doing amazing things … building dams, preventing polio, saving children from famine, making the world a better place. In Dover, we focus on community needs through multiple programs focused on improving the lives of kids, families and individuals,” Fischer said.

The signs were manufactured and installed by Sundance Sign in Dover.
