In September of 2013 Ann Schultz and John Damon, two folks enjoying their sunset years, left New Hampshire for a year out west on a motor home adventure towing a bright yellow VW convertible bug named Cupcake. Ann says, “This type of adventure is not for everyone, even if they think they would
like living in an 8 by 31 foot space for twelve months, and driving 200 to 300 hundred miles to a new venue every week. It is a life choice, not without its challenges. It is easier said than done to cancel one's entire schedule of life activities, say good-bye to friends and family, and strike out for the unknown with a new companion.“
On Monday, November 30 at 7:00 PM Ann and John will be sharing stories from this adventure at the Dover Public Library through pictures and stories. Some of the highlights of the trip were seeing Bryce, Zion and Yosemite National parks, Crater Lake and Lake Tahoe. Folks who enjoy hearing about trips and those who are thinking of taking a similar trip will want to attend this program!
