The Children's Museum of NH is hosting its annual Earth Day Celebration sponsored by DF Richard Energy. Museum educators have planned a full slate of workshops and demonstrations inside the museum for the whole family!
10 am - noon: Roots Exploration with Norm Fracassa of Fracassa DesignWorks. Find out what's happening under the soil!
10 am - 1 pm: Bird Feeder Making with members of Strafford Rivers Conservancy.
10:30 am: Learn about Beavers with museum educators.
11 am - 2 pm: Make Suncatchers with our friends from ReVision Energy.
11 am - 2 pm: Plant a Marigold to take home with the garden pro's from Wentworth Greenhouses.
11:30 am: Make a Caddisfly Case with museum educators.
12:30 pm: Watershed Demonstration by museum educators.
1:30 pm: Learn About NH Animal Sounds with museum educators.
2:30 pm: Explore Owl Pellets with museum educators.
Visitors can also participate in a Green Scavenger Hunt around the museum and make Upcycled Creations from recycled materials.
All Earth Day activities are included in regular paid admission and FREE for museum members. No reservations required.Tell a Friend
