DR. DANTE SCALA ON "THE 2016 NEW HAMP...Description
Are you having trouble keeping track of the candidates competing in the 2016 New Hampshire Primary? Why is this primary so important? Can past primaries give us a guide to this one, which is extraordinary by anyone's measure? The Seacoast Memorial Lecture Series is proud to present Dr. Dante J. Scala, Associate Professor of Political Science at the University of New Hampshire, discussing and analyzing "The 2016 New Hampshire Presidential Primary." This event is free and open to the public. Everyone -- Democrat, Republican, or Undecided -- is welcome. Please join us on Wednesday, November 18, 2015, 1:30 pm, at the Durham Evangelical Church, 114 Dover Road (Route 108), Durham, NH, to learn more about the issues, trends, and stakes of the fast-approaching primary elections. Dr. Scala has studied the changing political demographics of New Hampshire and beyond for more than a decade. His expertise is recognized nationally - you may have heard or seen him on NPR, ABC, CBS, CNN, or Fox News. His most recent book, with Henry Olsen, is "The Four Faces of the Republican Party and the Fight for the 2016 Presidential Nomination." This semester, he is co- teaching a new on-line course for UNH, available nationwide, entitled "Understanding the New Hampshire Primary." The Seacoast Memorial Lecture Series is a public service presentation of the Active Retirement Association (ARA). The ARA is supported by annual dues from its 300+ members who represent 35 towns and cities in southern Maine and New Hampshire. For additional information, visit the ARA website at www.unh.edu/ara or phone or email Membership Director Carol Caldwell at 603-312-1536 or info@ara-nh.org.
