Part 1 This workshop will cover the basics for those just beginning to learn about investing. Learn about what to pay attention to in the Wall Street Journal, understand key vocabulary and investment concepts, and learn how to use financial calculators to your advantage. Part 2 Recommended Prerequisite: Investing Concepts Part 1 Investing is not about day-trading and gambling for a big win. It’s a long-term commitment you put in place to make your money work for you. This workshop is for those who possess a general understanding of products and concepts when it comes to investing, building on the concepts from Part 1 of this series. Learn what to look for when building your investment portfolio, what to consider, how often to review, and how to manage market fluctuations. Part 3- Recommended Prerequisites - Investing Concepts Parts 1 & 2 In this workshop, you will outline the framework for building your own investment portfolio, using concepts from the previous courses and tools like Barron’s, the Wall Street Journal, and more. This is a free workshop. NHFCU does not sell investment products nor do we work with third parties to provide investment services. Open to the public, please register. Parts 2 & 3 will be held August 16 & 25, 2017.
