Description
UNITY of the Seacoast is an open and accepting Interfaith Spiritual Community affirming the core values of Unity Worldwide Ministries. “Common Ground” is what UOTS' current focus is about and what our UNITY founders, the Filmores, sought to elicit in everything they taught us. This special Sunday will surely be a very positive step in the development of this ministry, this community and the City and Dover.
Please join us for this most unique and important experience in the history of our community. Rev Phil’s sister, Ann, works in various capacities in serving the African and Middle Eastern Immigrant Community in Portland, ME. Through this work, she became aware of Mohammed A, who has been working on a film about the common ground between Christianity and Islam.
Nada and Noor I have been doing much of the fact-finding on this project and have stepped forward to deliver the talk on the 14th and then be available for questions and discussions after service. Please support these women in their sharing their spiritual perspectives. This is our weekly celebration service with child care. An offering will be collected. Fellowship to follow the service.
Noor and Nada I are sisters and young adult women from Iraq. They are devout Muslim, yet are not content to follow the "letter" of their faith ... seeing areas in which to practice it in its deepest, most spiritual sense. They are in the United States as study-abroad college students.Tell a Friend
