In 2016, the sisters of the University of New Hampshire Alpha Sigma chapter of Kappa Delta sorority raised about $25,000 to distribute to NH Children's Trust and Prevent Child Abuse America! How generous will the donors be this year? Join us to find out and be a part of a class-act evening for a worthy cause - children.
For the sixth year in a row, the sisters will host a dinner and auction to fundraise for NH Children's Trust and Prevent Child Abuse America. From gathering donations and sponsors, to assigning public relations tasks and outreach, 150 sorority sisters work diligently to raise funds and organize the dinner and auction. As a national organization, the Kappa Deltas support Prevent Child Abuse America as one of their platforms of service. Each year, the event is hosted in March, leading into National Child Abuse Prevention Month in April.
A buffet dinner is included in your ticket price and includes an appetizer, dinner and dessert.
Our board of directors and staff invite you to a pre-auction cocktail party (cash bar) sponsored by NH Children's Trust at The Regatta Room, in a separate space from the dinner and auction. We hope to meet the evening's donors and attendees to explain what your donated funds will be used for, and put a face to the action of preventing child abuse and neglect. We're happy to answer any questions you may have about our agency and what we do.
